About the Program

The Men’s Community Intervention Service Men is a free service for men who have used violence, control, or abuse in their relationships and are ready to take accountability and change. Supporting men through a combination of counselling, group behaviour change programs, case management and safety planning.

Desert Blue Connect

Desert Blue Connect Men’s Service works with men who want to take responsibility, change harmful behaviours, and improve their overall wellbeing. The service specialises in supporting men who have used family violence and are ready to make lasting change, while also addressing related issues like mental health, trauma, substance use, parenting, and relationship challenges. The team provides support through individual counselling, group behaviour change programs, case management, and safety planning, helping men develop healthier behaviours and stronger relationships. Desert Blue Connect Men’s Service is a free and confidential service, with interpreter services available for those who need them.

The WA Men’s Behaviour Change Network is a collaborative group established and facilitated by Stopping Family Violence Inc. (SFV) and developed to strengthen the working relationships across the perpetrator intervention system in Western Australia.

Stopping Family Violence

The Men's Behaviour Change Network acknowledges the significant impact family, domestic, and sexual violence has on the safety and wellbeing of adults, children, and young people. We recognise their courage, hope and determination to live fulfilling lives free from violence.

The Men's Behaviour Change Network respectfully acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge First Nations People as the Traditional Custodians of this country and its waters, their stories, traditions and living cultures.
