About the Program

The Changing Tracks Service, operational in Bunbury and Albany, provides groupwork intervention to men who are choosing to use violence or who have used violence in the intimate partner and/or family setting. Improving responses and intervening with those choosing to use violence is an essential part of improving safety for adult and child victim-survivors.

Many men who use violence in their intimate and family relationships want to change, to improve their relationships with their partners, ex-partners and children and not to continue to use violence within their relationships in the future. Anglicare WA facilitates two groupwork programs in both Albany and Bunbury, ‘Changing Tracks’ and ‘Caring Dads’.

Changing Tracks will be offered on a ‘rolling group’ basis. Changing Tracks consists of six core modules rolled out in 24 x 2-hour sessions.

Creating Safer Futures for Individuals and Families
Family and domestic violence affects people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds across Western Australia. Its impact can be devastating—emotionally, physically, and socially. At Anglicare WA, we are committed to supporting individuals and families affected by violence, helping them find safety, rebuild their lives, and thrive.
Programs for Perpetrators: We work with individuals who have used violence or coercive control to help them understand their behaviour, manage anger, and learn safe, respectful communication.
Recovery and Empowerment: Our services focus on long-term healing, helping participants build resilience, develop life skills, and create a future free from violence.

The WA Men’s Behaviour Change Network is a collaborative group established and facilitated by Stopping Family Violence Inc. (SFV) and developed to strengthen the working relationships across the perpetrator intervention system in Western Australia.

Stopping Family Violence

The Men's Behaviour Change Network acknowledges the significant impact family, domestic, and sexual violence has on the safety and wellbeing of adults, children, and young people. We recognise their courage, hope and determination to live fulfilling lives free from violence.

The Men's Behaviour Change Network respectfully acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge First Nations People as the Traditional Custodians of this country and its waters, their stories, traditions and living cultures.
